Hot Or Cold – The Sleep Dilemma

It would be wonderful to know my own mind on this. The problem of what works best to get a good night’s sleep. A cooler room? Or one where the tropics beckon?

There are times that I just love the extra nip in the air that makes burrowing beneath the covers extra comfy and cosy. And other times when I need to crank up the heat in order to feel sleepy enough to doze off.

I’ve heard that sleeping in a cooler room is better over all for one’s health. And some physicians seem to feel that it will help you sleep better. Even if that is true, it seems to me that you sometimes have to trust your own body’s instinct. A warm room might be warranted if you’re fighting a cold or virus, for instance.

Either way, it is just another one of the factors to consider that go into creating a good night’s rest. So experiment a little with the temperature gauge….find what’s best for you!
