Sleep Deprivation-How Much Sleep Is Enough? (Part 2)

Children that are under the age of two need at least thirteen to seventeen hours worth of sleep per night. During this very rapid growing stage, it’s a must!

Those that are toddlers over the age of two need at least nine to thirteen hours of sleep per night. You need this much until you are about nine to ten years old.

At the age of ten, you can get by on ten to eleven hours of sleep. Teens also need this amount of sleep through puberty and their final growth spurts.

At the age of sixteen, and on up, it is recommended that you get between six and nine hours of sleep per night.

Those that are over the age of sixty five actually only need to get between six and eight hours of sleep.
